Summer palette

Hello lovelies :)

Thank you for all your wonderful comments!

SUCH a lazy day today...

The boy isn’t around at the moment so I thought I’d snap a few by myself by balancing the camera on the table…. Errr not sure if they turned out as good as usual haha.

This is my lounging about lazy outfit… My mum bought me the dress for me from Hong Kong but it was too cold to wear by itself so I had to throw on an airtex underneath… I know, I know, so lazy! Oh well :-) I like the way the pastel pink and the light grey go together, must definitely attempt more matches like that in the summer.

I always look kinda serious in my pictures so here’s a silly one for ya’ll! Very impressed that I managed to jump at the right time! Without tripping on my shoelaces... hahaha.

Summer pastels

This outfit just screams summer... Blazing sun, parasols, cool water and a gentle breeze by day and Smoky barbeques, glowsticks and get-togethers at the beach by night!

Loves,
Z xoxo

Top of the world

Have been MIA this weekend, sorry! Went to visit the boy's parents and just arrived back home yesterday to see my mum, grandma and maid who have all flown in from Hong Kong.

The most exciting thing that happened this weekend? Huge jumble sale!! Can you say, "1 huge dustbin bag filled with clothes to the brim for £3.50"? Because I can.

I intend to chop and snip a few hems and here's hoping the stuff will be ready for summer - I picked up a few vintage dresses.

In the meantime/downtime, above is a picture of me from last summer - sun, sea and sand - how I miss it!

Flows like a butterfly, stings like a bee.

So I bought these boxer style boots (Kangaroo brand) from Amazon... I swear I'm addicted to that site. Since term started in September, I have bought 5 pairs of shoes off Amazon - Although I bought 3 of the 5 pairs in the last week so its not like I've been buying them constantly.....

I don't know how that admission makes things any better. Whenever I find out that the packages have arrived at reception, my heart literally sings. Hahaha, its like receiving mail and feeling loved, except the mail is from yourself and you know that you're gonna love whatever is in that box!

Well, I admit it:

My name is Z and I am addicted to Amazon.com

It's just so easy, you know?! All it takes is 3 clicks:
1) Add to shopping basket
2) Go to checkout
3) Buy
You don't even need to put in card details or anythang!

ANYWAY.... moving swiftly along from the subject of amazon, these boots are standard boxing-style boots and they're really comfy, great for running around in puddles like I did today. The best bit? They were only £15 on sale!

I paired them with a floweryprinted geisha-esque dress (how fitting for the blog name) with comfy swooshy sleeves and whacked my trusty trench over it.

Please leave a comment if you pass by! What other outfits could I do with these boots?

Z xoxo

Ummm sorry I'm doing such a silly pose! Wanted to show you the sleeves... I LOVE this dress :) I'm so attached to it because its so comfortable yet if I put on some heels its ready to party through the night too.

I'm baaaaaaaaack

Hello lovely visitor!

I've abandoned this blog for ages because I thought I'd lost my camera charger, but I found it nestling amongst dad's huuuuuge collection of wires so all's well and it's up and running again!

I'm not sure if I introduced myself at the beginning but as it's a fresh start I'll do it properly:

My name is Zara and I live and study in London. I absolutely love fashion - it's my stress outlet and gives me a break from the mundanity of university classes! My fashion sense is slightly schizo at the moment as I tend to buy things very impulsively - sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, but I give it all a try. My basics are my leather jacket (love), skinny jeans and biker boots. I love designers such as Rick Owens, Alexander Wang, Vivienne Westwood, Proenza Schouler, Givenchy and am in love with shoes of all shapes and forms!

But mostly, my inspiration comes from all you wonderful bloggers out there, in particular (and I know I've done this before but they deserve as many mentions as I can get away with):
Including:

I started posting on chictopia and decided to move back to here so I'll post up the outfits that I put up on chictopia so far..........

New skirt from Oasis that I bought in the hopes of willing summer to arrive.

Rick Owens inspired outfit. Studded belt is from a Hong Kong market for 30HKD (£2.50) and so useful!

My beloved leather jacket from the leather shop in Covent Garden... the one on the opposite side of the road from MAC and Origins. Butter soft and I love the way it falls.

New boots (Nine West). The tip of the iceberg that is my shoe collection.

Taking advantage of the good weather that finally arrived in London!
