FOOD: These are a few of my favourite things!

I absolutely ADORE eating and think that a lovely meal out is such a nice way to catch up with people and have a generally jolly good time. The way to my heart is truly through my stomach - I still feel all warm and fuzzy thinking about a perfectly chargrilled steak that my boyfriend once cooked me on the barbeque on a warm Summer evening... Yes, well anyway! I think the evidence is clear...

Spicy fried fish and delicate sushi at a random Korean joint in New Maldon. There are tons of Korean restaurants around here and you really can't go wrong with any of them!

"Foie Gras of the Sea" - Luxirare™

Just a quick post to show an outfit of the day that I wore to grab some MORE sushi. Sorry about the humidity fogging up the camera! I titled the post because the lovely Luxirare described Uni (raw sea urchin) as the foie gras of the sea and I thought it was a cute description. Definitely a love-it-or-hate-it dish, the texture of the Uni is soft and smooth with an oceanic scent and the taste is a rich, buttery fish flavour.

My first taste of Itsu!

I've always been a bit paranoid of this place since the russian spy poisoning malarkey...

(Although Itsu have since MAJORLY rebranded themselves... I suppose they had to!)

It's really delicious - I'm currently ploughing through it now. Recommended! I actually chose these two things because the businessman before me who looked like he knew what he was doing chose them. Why yes, I AM a terrible decision-maker. How did you know?

This is probably a really meaningless overshare of a post but I don't care... SUSHI!!
