I hate the fact that our tutors assigned a huge coursework just before term ended meaning that its cutting into my revision time! I should be revising but instead I'm working on this silly piece of coursework :(

I am absolutely LONGING for summer...... The two pictures above are part of my ultimate favourite editorial EVER :)

PS. The Dr Martens boots I ordered came today and they're SO comfy... Tempted to order them in black too. They look better in real than on screen :)

 I think I'll just skip the whole sandal = summer thing and wear boots all year round!

Met up with my family today and enjoyed a day off from studying to wander around Chinatown and have a gluttonous dinner in a pub near Barnes. I see my family so little that it's almost strange to be all together! We are very loud :)

I got the poncho in a market in Oxford - What do you think? 

I was actually a little nervous about wearing it! "Why?", you may ask.....

My last venture into the world of ponchos was when I was 12 and I completely thought I was working my new hippie poncho. I noticed a boy looking at me whilst I was waiting to be picked up and thought he was admiring my fashion savvy..........

....... until he came over and was like 

"Excuse me........ Why are you dressed like Jesus?" :-( 

I ran home crying to my mum and haven't worn one until now. Hurtful at the time but I think I'm over it, just ;-)

CRUMPLED is the new ironed............

Yeah, just making excuses for the fact that my shirt is crumpled beyond belief but I REALLY could not be bothered to iron it myself (me and irons don't get along very well... I often end up with burn marks and melted buttons/etc) and figured that wearing it for a while would make it less so, haha. Love this waistcoat which I got from Zara a year or so ago but I'm so paranoid of the studs falling off! Also, you can't really see them properly but I'm wearing wet-look leggings that I bought in Hong Kong.

On another note... I miss taking the outdoor pictures! Must get more of those done but I was only able to take these in a rush before I ran out the door. The long grey granny cardigan is rather a cop-out on the jacket front. I definitely need to revive some winter --> spring transition coats. I scored a denim jacket at the same time as my vint boots so hopefully it'll be warm enough to wear that soon!

These are the however-many-seasons-ago Gap boots that I'm still wearing and still loving! I got the studded things on another pair of boots (which were already studded... talk about cowboy jingling overkill!) and transferred them to these - I think it adds a nice bit of detail, what do you think?

Doing silly things with my cardigan for the camera. I've been watching Cycle 12 of ANTM and can never resist an opportunity to do stupid poses now whenever a camera is turned on me. They don't always work out though, haha.... but I guess thats why models have 100s of frames per photoshoot!

Just bought some brown Dr Martens boots from Amazon (Yup, still injecting that stuff) but it's been so long since I actually wore normal looking brown (as opposed to black) boots that I have no idea what to wear them with! Have been drawing inspiration from Polyvore...

Gotta lot o' livin' to do

Today was spent procrastinating in the sunshine!! I swear its so painful that as soon as revision period starts, the sun comes out.... WHY. Must definitely try to be more focused from now on.

What do you think of the grey VS crazy blazer? I went with the gray for warmth but am itching to bring the stripey blazer to life again. Another thing - I bought the grey coat around 2 years ago but this winter I have seen EVERYBODY AND THEIR MUM WEARING IT. Seriously, I hate it when that happens! Everyone must have taken it out of storage thinking that no one else would be wearing it.... How wrong they were, haha.
