Topshop Thrills

Hello :)
Man, I look super awkward in these photos. It was really late at night! But anyway... This is the Topshop top I bought from the sale. I Love love love it. It's so comfortable and I love the drapy details and the zip running up the middle. I'm wearing it with my New Look bandage skirt and my brand new shiny magical amazing stupendous Topshop Emma Cook boots (a gargantuan THANK YOU SO MUCH AHHHHH to Super-Shini who saved the day with these in my size!!!).

I love the clunkiness of these boots. It makes me feel like ROCKING OUT. In a peach-coloured sort of way. Yeah, laugh away.

Tried it on with some bleached out topshop ankle zip jeans... Just for the fun of dressing in head-to-toe Topshop! :)

There are so many more new items coming my way, just you wait and see! So many, in fact, that I'm almost ashamed to show them all off. Hah.

You guys are the best :) Thank you for visiting and commenting!

Darling buds of May

Hello my lovelies. Sorry for such a long absence! And sorry I look so tired in these photos... My exams start NEXT WEEK (ahhhhh) and the stress will continue for 2 weeks so once that long week of fear and terror is over, I shall try and get back into the swing of things!

Firstly I want to say THANK YOU :D to the beautiful Laura of DaisyChain Dreams because I won her giveaway yayy. I can't wait to receive my package!!! Yum yum yum....

But before the oh-crap-only-a-few-days-before-exams panic period starts, I thought I'd show off a few (understatement) new purchases. I have bought far too many things lately, mainly because I'm stuck in my room revising and am forever tempted by online shopping!

The blue poofy skirt is from the topshop sale and is SO MUCH MORE POOFY than I expected it to be... I absolutely love it!

I have given up the search for Emma Cook boots and will wait patiently until someone tires of theirs and takes pity on me :( ..... So I bought chunky heeled creepers off ebay instead :)

The black body is from.... uh.... OK OK, NEW LOOK AGAIN. They are made out of stretchy cotton and don't cling to the body - just skim it. And they're like 8 pounds or something! Fully recommended. I want to get my hands on a stripy version.

JUMP! Hehe.

YESSSS I got the hair flick downnnn. Sorry about the boobage.

Anddd my beloved vintage denim jacket.

Perfect summer outfit!

Bye for now :)

April showers.

Why is it raining again? :( Just when I thought the weather was getting nice!

Although I bought this dress ages ago, it kinda reminds me of Henry Holland's pantone collection, which I thought was a really neat idea. I actually met the man himself whilst gay clubbing, he was super sweet and we chatted about whether I'd been here before (I hadn't and neither had he), whether I was enjoying myself and then he gave me a hug and kiss goodbye. He smelt really nice and his flannel/plaid shirt was sooooooo soft. I need some of his fabric softener. LOL major tangent. Here's a pic of him and the (slightly too?) ubiquitus Agyness Deyn/Laura Hollins.

Other bits of the outfit:
I wore the black version of my dark brown Dr Marten toki boots. Only £24 on amazon and now I have all the boots I will ever need....... seriously.
Except for the Emma cook ones!!!!! Anyone who is sick of their size 37/38 ones are very welcome to contact me to take them off their hands! :)

Thank you for the comments :) I'm a little afraid of DIY actually, because whenever I cut/tear/rip/shred things it usually ends up going wrong and I end up in tears and my mum usually offers to sew it back up again with a here-we-go-again look on her face, hahaha.

My boyfriend isn't here to take my pictures for me :( Hence the glum face! What do you guys do when you feel lonely and the weather is crap? I'm tempted to guzzle the Ben & Jerry's "Half baked" that is sitting in my freezer...!

For sale

Incidentally, I'm selling a pair of boots on ebay (click for link) that have been sitting in my cupboard for a while- I bought 2 pairs of them online to make sure I got the right size and forgot to return this pair.

These are a true size 5 (i.e. too big for my size 4-4.5 feet). My size 4's have been majorly comfy for clubbing and stand up great to having beer spilled all over them. Just saying. xoxo

Parklife

Hello lovelies,

I'm impatiently waiting for my packages to arrive!!! Haha, this is the problem with online shopping - there isn't the same INSTANT GRATIFICATION feeling that you get when shopping :P

Oh well. It's hardcore revision time which means comfort food and slobbing out all round. I literally don't go outside unless its to the supermarket, so real-life shopping is not an option! This is what I wore today to go... you guessed it, food shopping.

Although I could be on my way to a very cool, underground gig. Yes I could. (Just allow me to pretend I have a life).

(My boyfriend told me to do my laces up)

A window frame picture. Don't say I don't spoil you!

Hat - Zara Men
Top - AA pocket skirt
Belt - Uniqlo
Denim shorts - Vintage
Boots - Vintage
----------------

I'm thinking of cutting these shorts shorter and doing a Shini DIY. Yes, no?

Thank you for all the great comments on the last post. You guys really helped ease the guilt on those purchases ;) I will be sure to show and tell when they arrive!
