LONDON FASHION WEEK SS15 SHOW REPORT: Hema Kaul

Hema Kaul's show took place in my favourite room in the Freemason's Hall, featuring a decadent marbled floor, bronze arches and stained glass windows. Entitled "La vie en rose - Life is Pink", the collection was an unabashed show of femininity.

Details included silk printed florals, sheer cascading tulle skirts, metallic fabrics and delicate lace embroidery. The classic make up and effortless quiff set off the girly tone perfectly - a really confident and self-assured collection. Looks like tulle is definitely in for SS15!

LONDON FASHION WEEK SS15 SHOW REPORT - Ong-Oaj Pairam #OOPSS15

I saw Ong-Oaj's show last season where his 50's inspired gowns paid homage to Ursula from the Little Mermaid, with badass bouffants, red lips and unexpected leather accents. I couldn't wait to see what was in store next for the young talented designer.

This season, I had the privilege to attend again and was ushered into a front row seat - always a nice surprise. The collection was inspired by Ong-Oaj's fragmented memories of growing up alongside his family's noodle factory in Nakhon Ratichasima, Thailand.

The collection was an explosion of pastel colour and tulle detailing, with structured jackets, pleated skirts and palazzo trousers lending an elegance to his eye-popping creations. I absolutely loved it!

The shoes were white with pastel flecks and perfectly complemented the collection, ranging from a classic court to a strappy knee high sandal.

Asian inspired fabrics and cuts brought the collection back to the Thai influence.

And finally: 2 showstopping ballgown dresses that brought gasps from the crowd.

Hope you enjoyed - more show reports coming up!
